Catching Up with the Blog

Wow! I have gotten behind on my blogging (Sorry Heather!) So here is my attempt to catch up on recent events:

The Ohio State University
During the first half of my spring break we visited the campus of THE Ohio State University! I love OSU! It will be one of the many schools I will be starting the application process for in the fall. (UD, Miami and Kentucky are also on the list)
Buckeye Brutus statue in The Ohio Union

Dad joining in the spirit with me. (Notice the Ohio State polo he's wearing. What a classy guy!)

One of the many amazing buildings on campus.

Washington DC
For the later half of my Spring Break we went out to the nation's capital. It was really cool to see all the iconic sites. My personal favorites were The Museum of American History and the Library of Congress. I sure missed The Metro trains when I went back home to "beginning of the quarter traffic" at Sinclair.

"The Castle" of The Smithsonian

Washington D.C. Temple

National Museum of American History: One of the first Dumbos on the Disneyland ride

Library of Congress: Isn't it amazing? Biggest let down: They don't let tourists into the actual reading room where all the books are. Oh well I probably would have had urges to shelf read in there any way. (Oh I love my job :)

Nashville
I traveled to Nashville for The Phi Theta Kappa National Convention. It was a lot of fun but the convention didn't allow much time to be a tourist.
